Tallow Theory began with a simple frustration: skincare had become complicated. Endless ingredient lists, unfamiliar names, and a fragrance for every mood — yet skin that still felt dry, tight and unsettled.

We wanted to strip everything back to what actually matters. So we made a balm with just four natural ingredients: 100% grass-fed beef tallow, raw honey, olive oil and beeswax. Nothing synthetic, nothing added for the sake of it.

Tallow has been valued for generations, and for good reason. Its composition is remarkably close to the natural oils found in human skin, allowing it to absorb comfortably rather than sit on the surface. Sourced from grass-fed cattle, it is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and K — nutrients that support the skin's own moisture barrier.

Every jar is made in small batches, here in the UK, with ingredients we're proud to name in full. We believe fewer ingredients can be a strength rather than a shortcut — especially for those with dry, sensitive or easily irritated skin who want to know exactly what they're putting on it.
